Design Academy Eindhoven is looking for a Policy Officer (24 -32 hrs / week)

ABOUT THE JOB

As a Policy Officer, you are part of the young Educational Office team where you will closely work together with various stakeholders within our community. You work from strategy and vision on a long-term perspective in the field of educational programmes, projects, research, and evaluation. From the Educational Office, you contribute to the implementation of policy. You apply your experience in the field of quality assurance, for example in accreditations, educational evaluations and analysing quality data. In addition, you have a role in supporting tutoring teams to further develop their education, in line with the educational vision, whereby you also contribute to the quality of assessment. You are also involved in organising professionalisation programmes for tutors and coordinators, such as the BDB training (basic didactic qualification and basic examination qualification) for tutors and the annual Educational Day.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Our desired Policy Officer has demonstrable affinity and experience with educational innovation and improvement of educational quality in Higher or Academic Education. Also:

  • You have experience in (Art) Education, with expertise in quality assurance;
  • You have an up-to-date and broad knowledge and vision on learning and training;
  •  You know how to relate to (the requirements of) all levels within the organisation, working on educational tasks both independently and as part of a team
  • You are energised by a dynamic and changing environment, where you can quickly switch between different activities, tasks and stakeholders;
  • You have an excellent command of Dutch and English in word and writing.

Alongside this you’ll receive:

  • A contract for 24 - 32 hours per week;
  • A salary within the range of €4.234,28 - 5.936,77 gross per month based on 36 hours (salaryscale 11 – CAO HBO);
  • Reimbursement of your public transport costs or a kilometre reimbursement of €0,23 per kilometre;
  • a working from home allowance;
  • A workplace within the centre of Eindhoven. Within walking distance from the train station and a parking spot next to the building;
  • As an academy, we encourage professionalization with room to grow, development talks and training opportunities. A holiday allowance of 8% and a year-end bonus of 8.3% and other conditions in accordance with CAO-HBO;
  • A good pension scheme and room and attention for you as a professional.
